How do I book a chef?
You can book through the link on our IG page, the “Sign Up” button on our FB page, or by sending us a DM and we’ll send you the booking link.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, and Laguna. We also accept out-of-town services — transportation fees will apply and vary depending on the chef’s location.
Do I need to provide the ingredients?
You may provide the ingredients yourself, or opt for our Grocery Assistance service (additional fee).
Do you vet your chefs?
Yes. All our chefs go through a careful vetting process before they are onboarded as a PHat Chef. This includes:
A phone interview
A cooking trial
Submission of their NBI clearance
This ensures professionalism, food safety, and quality service for every client.
Can I tip the chef?
Absolutely! 100% of your tip goes directly to the chef.
Are your chefs trained and vetted?
Yes, all chefs are thoroughly vetted and highly trained.

How does Grocery Assistance work?
Php 3,500 deposit required (unused refunded).
Php 800 service fee per session.
Grocery list shared via Google Keep for approval.
Chef shops, delivers, and cooks.
We keep all receipts, send them to you after, and settle any balance once groceries are finalized.
What if the grocery cost changes?
If it exceeds the deposit, we’ll confirm with you before purchasing. Any unused balance is refunded with receipts.
Can I request a Custom Menu?
Yes. Personalized menus are included free of charge in all sessions.
What’s your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
Reschedule up to 72 hours before = no penalty.
Changes within 72 hours may incur a Php 500 rebooking fee.
Refunds available if cancelled more than 72 hours in advance.

Meal Prep by the PHat Chef
What is the main purpose of your meal prep service?
Our meal prep service is designed to prepare meals that can be stored in your fridge or freezer and enjoyed throughout the week or day. While we do our best to time cooking so one dish may be ready for lunch or dinner that day, the primary goal is to provide convenient, ready-to-store meals.
What’s included in the Meal Prep service?
4 cooked dishes at 1kg each OR 3 cooked + 2 marinated dishes.
You can trade 1 cooked dish for 2 marinated ones (e.g., 8 marinated dishes, 0 cooked).
Free personalized menu.
Kitchen cleanup included.
What time can I book a meal prep service?
We offer two main service slots:
Morning Slot: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM start
Afternoon Slot: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM start
If you need a start time outside these windows, please indicate it in the notes section of your booking form. Kindly note that starting after 3:30 PM may mean the chef finishes past 7:00 PM.
Can I request for food to be ready by lunch or dinner time?
Yes, you may request it in the notes section of your booking form. We’ll do our best to accommodate, depending on the chef’s schedule. However, please keep in mind that the service is not the same as catering, where everything is served hot at a specific time.

How long does the service take?
On average, 2.5–5 hours depending on menu complexity.
Do you have a menu, or how is the menu finalized?
We’ll work with you on the menu. First, we’ll ask about your cuisine preferences. From there, we’ll create a proposed menu and also share some of the chefs’ best dishes. You’ll get to review and confirm before your service.
What should I prepare before the chef arrives?
Clean kitchen with tools/appliances ready.
Ingredients placed on the counter if you’re providing them.
Thaw frozen meats in the fridge the night before.
Is cleaning included?
Yes — chefs wipe down counters, wash used pots/pans, and tidy the workspace.
